Combined Ridership (unlinked trips)

Definition: Unlinked trips are counted each time passengers board MARTA vehicles (for example, a passenger’s journey from the Airport station to the final destination may require two unlinked trips - taking a train to a station and then transferring to a bus to complete the one-way travel).

Combined Ridership for the month of March was 5.5 million unlinked passenger boardings, falling short of the forecast by 0.1 million. The 2024 Fiscal Year-to-Date (months of July through March) Combined Ridership of 48.5 million unlinked trips fell short of the forecast by 1.0 million.
