MARTA & CHAIRWOMAN DR ALIEKA ANDERSON-HENRY PARTNERS WITH GOODR TO BRING FRESH FOOD TO AREAS OF FOOD INSECURITY IN CLAYTON COUNTY

ATLANTA – The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) has partnered with Clayton County and Goodr to bring a free pop-up grocery store to residents facing food insecurity in Clayton County.

The Goodr Pop-Up Grocery Store will be stocked with free groceries, including meat, fresh produce, milk, eggs, and shelf-stable items. Through this initiative, MARTA, Goodr, and Clayton County aim to provide families with the fresh ingredients they need to prepare healthy meals at home.

WHEN:             Tuesday, April 22, 2025 

                               3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

“MARTA is committed to enriching the lives of the people we serve, including through food access programs that support our most vulnerable riders,” said MARTA General Manager and CEO Collie Greenwood. “This partnership with Goodr and Clayton County extends that mission and helps put healthy food directly into the hands of those who need it most.”
